	Dr. Sun attended USC School of Dentistry, graduating in 1981.
	Dr. Sun became a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 1985.
	She achieved Accredited Member status in October of 1987.
	In February 1995 she became one of only five members to be elected to Fellowship out of the 2,200. Today there are 29 Fellows out of 5000 dentist-members worldwide.

	She has been a member of the American Association for Functional Orthodontics since 1985.
	She also completed the St. Luke's Medical Center Hospital Laser Certification Program in October 1998.
	In February 1999 Dr. Sun became MASTER of the Academy of Laser Dentistry as well as Certified Dental Laser Educator.
	Dr. Sun served as mentor at the Laser Educator Training course held at University of California San Francisco, October 2000.
	Dr. Sun is the contributing author of the "Lasers and Light Amplification in Dentistry" chapter within the book The Dental Clinics of North America, Published in October 2000 by W. B. Sanders Co.
